Christchurch centrals winter tournament

For the first time in my three years of taking the the year 7/8 football team we managed to get through to the centrals for the winter tournament.

It was a fantastic day. The students were up against some pretty tough teams but they did very well.

We won two of our games out of 7. It was great for the students to be challenged and get to be a part of a challenging tournament.

It was a great way for me to end up the season and also possibly the last time I will take a year 7/8 team for a while with a possible move to juniors next year.

I was very proud of the team and it was great to see them get couple of wins.
