The
Niger Smith - the importance of relationships in teaching.
If the relationship comes first the teacher will not be replaced by technology.

Relationships are core to use God and Learning
Learning is a growing relationship
Technology will not replace the relational teacher
Relationships develop through ALL interactions
The future will be technological. Relationships provide the ground for healthy learning.

Derek Wentworth
Technology is a useful servant, but a dangerous master.

We need to teach students for their future not OUR past.

3 important changes in education.
1. Ubiquitous - education should be ready and available.
2. Agency - have choices and the power to act on those choices.
3. Connectedness - no man/woman is an island.

What is driving your Approach - learning or technology.

What beliefs about knowledge about technology and about learning underpin this.

Are you actively engaged in the digital world - or is it second hand.

Are you gong to be an eagle or a turkey?
